On October 1, 2006, Zigzag Asia and the GT Association signed an online content distribution agreement regarding the SUPER GT racing series.
Zigzag Asia will be distributing SUPER GT video content through its new online video channel GT Channel. http://www.gtchannel.com
Soon segments from the SUPER GT 2006 season will be available for fans to enjoy.
GT Channel is where viewers can see the latest and most exciting automotive videos. GT Channel has the top car videos from Japan such as Best Motoring and Hot Version. You'll see tuned cars, stock cars, touge racing, drifting and circuit battles. Selected full version GT Channel official content will also be available for paid to own download starting from 2007.
Viewers are also able to upload their car videos on GT Channel for the world to see. Viewers will get a share of the advertising fee generated by the click through after viewing the video clips.
SUPER GT
SUPER GT is Japan's top level GT racing series. It consists of 2 categories, the GT500 and the GT300. The two categories run together in the same race. The participants in the GT500 category will compete for three titles, the driver title, the team title and the machine title. The GT300 participants will compete for two titles, the rider title and the team title.
