Jan 30. Born in Nagano Prefecture Japan
1977 Debuts at Fuji Freshman Race.  This is around the time he gets the nickname "Drift King". 
1985 Inter TEC 1st in Class, 6th overall
1989 Enters Group A and F3
1990 Enters Group A and F3.  Enters new Formula Mirage seriesand wins 3 races becomes the seris champ. 
1991 Enters the Group A with a Skyline GT-R and ranks 5th overall.
1992 Enters Group A with a Skyline GT-R with the legendary Kunimitsu Takahashi
1993 Enters Group A.  Also ranks 3rd in N1 Taikyu series driving a Prelude. 
1994 Enters Japan Touring Car Championship(JTCC) in a Honda Civic.  Comes in 4th place in the 4th round of the series.
Also participates in JGTC with a Porsche Turbo and wins the SUGO round. 
Races in the Le Mans 24hr race in a Honda NSX for the first time.  Finishes 18th place.
1995

Wins Le Mans 24 hr race GT-2 class in a Honda NSX.  Overallchamp at Tokachi 24hr race.  In the Suzuka 1000km race he wins both titles of Suzuka GT and Taikyu race. 

Enters JGTC in a Porsche.  Comes in 3rd at Fuji Speedway round.
Enters JTCC in a Honda Civic. 

1996 Finishes for the 3rd year in a row and comes in 3rd place at Le Mans 24 hr race GT-2 class
Enters in JGTC in a Honda NSX.
Enters in first Suzuka NASCAR race.
1997 Enters Le Mans 24 hr with Team Lark Mclaren and Suzuka 1000km. 
Enters JGTC with Team Taisan GT-R. 
Enters last race of JTCC Inter TEC.
Enters in 2nd Suzuka NASCAR
1998 Enters Le Mans 24 hr with Toyota Works and comes in 9th overall
Enters JGTC with Toyota Team Sard. 6th overall ranking.
Enters JTCC with Tsuchiya Engineering.
Enters NASCAR Winston West (9th round) and finishes 24th.
Enters NASCAR Thunder Special
1999 Enters Le Mans 24 hrs with Toyota Works and finishes 2nd overall
Enters JGTC with Toyota Team Sard
Enters NASCAR Winston Cup finishes 24th.
2000 Enters JGTC with ARTA Honda NSX.  Wins Fuji Speedway round.
Enters Super Taikyu Series with Team DD Toyota Altezza.  Wins 1st and 7th round. 
Finishes Tokachi 24 hrs in 3rd place. 
Enters Le Mans 24 hr with TV Asahi Tema Ryu (Panos Ford) and finishes 8th overall (7th in class)
2001 Enters JGTC with ARTA 2nd place at Ti and Sugo.  Wins Suzuka. 2nd in overall points ranking. 
2002 Enters JGTC with ARTA 2nd place at Suzuka. 10th in overall points ranking. 
2003

Enters JGTC with ARTA 19th overall points ranking. 

Retires from professional racing.

2004 Appointed General Manager of ARTA GT500 and GT300.
